There are many ways to configure the lighting with the ray-mmd, this is the way that I currently use at the time of publication of this video. (it is likely that in the future I will use another configuration)
With this way of configuring the ray-mmd, what I get is to eliminate the ugly shadows and the shadows in the shape of square polygons that usually appear on the skin of the models in the MMD videos by only loading the ray-mmd by default .

remember that this is one of many ways to do things in MMD, don't limit yourself to what you see in these tutorials and always experiment a little

These tutorials are aimed at people with minimal basic knowledge of the MMD and PMX-editor interfaces and who have both programs installed and running.
